A DMU line-up on Tyseley depot circa 1969. From left to right: Met-Camm DMBS M50312 looks freshly painted in blue, the set number in the window seems to read TY405; a Gloucester parcel car; a Derby suburban triple in blue with yellow panel, the set number could be TY505; coaches, with what could be a Gloucester single car just glimpsed to their right; and finally behind the 350hp shunter is a suburban DMU car, a Park Royal DMBS, a Mk1 coach, and a Met-Camm vehicle still in green. Tyseley Class 101 DMU set TY405, M50324 closest and probably with a Class 116 on the rear, is seen at Royal Oak. The slide process date was April 1973. Stuart Mackay Collection.

Class 101 DMU set TY405 departs from Four Oaks station with the 12:45 Hereford - Birmingham New Street - Lichfield City service on 14 May 1973. Michael Mensing.

Unknown date

A DMU formation departs from Tywyn circa late 1970s. The closest set seems to be set TY405, the far three car seems to be a hybrid in rail blue livery. Stuart Mackay Collection.
