Passing Cravens sets at Norwich on 10th March 1979. On the left is set 67 arriving with the 3.26pm ex-Sheringham, while on the right set 38 is an ECS with DMBS 51292 closest. Michael Mensing.
A tidy-looking Cravens Class 105 two-car DMU, Norwich Depot allocated set 38, with Driving Motor Brake Second (DMBS) E51292, stabled at Norwich station between duties on April 27th 1980. The set was coupled to another Class 105 two-car set. In the centre road was a BRCW Class 104, set 83, with another Cravens set alongside in the platform. Period details to the right of the Cravens are BRUTE trolleys, a blue/grey Mk.I coach and the end of a former Blue Spot Fish Van/SPV Van in use as an internal user vehicle at Norwich station. A Class 105 DMU, the set number seems to read 38, passing through Soham station on the Ipswich - Ely line, maybe circa early 1980s. The DMBS is thought to be E51292, Peterborough on its blind, the leading car displays Parkeston Quay. Stuart Mackay Collection.

A Class 105 DMU, the set number seems to read 38, about to pass through Soham station on the Ipswich - Ely line, maybe circa early 1980s. The DMBS is thought to be E51292, displaying Parkeston Quay on the destination blind. The station had closed in 1965, but re-opened in 2021. Stuart Mackay Collection.

Two withdrawn Met-Camm driver trailers in Norwich on 10th August 1988. 54404 is on the right, 54058 in the centre and a Cravens DMBS is on the left, possibly 51292.All ended up at Snailwell by February 1989. Nicholas Youngman.
