Billed as the 'Last BR Train' along the Bury to Rawtenstall line, curious locals came out in force to witness the passage of 'The Rossendale Farewell' at Ramsbottom on February 14th 1981. Class 104 DMCL M50505 was leading the six-car DMU formation slowly crossing over Bridge Street.
