With a Class 31, 33, 08 & 47 visible on the depot/stabling point, Pressed Steel Class 122 single-unit W55025 (P125) was stood at the West end of platform 6 at Exeter St Davids at the rear of a DMU ECS move on July 28th 1979. W55025 had been new in November 1960, and was in service until 1993 when it was transferred to departmental use and renumbered ADB977959. In later years the unit became a video survey unit for Balfour Beatty and carried the set number 960011 until 2004 when it was used as a route-learner, eventually passing into preservation in 2016.
