A Metro-Cammell DMU arrives with a Stafford - Birmingham train at the wooden platformed Rugeley Town station on a fine Summer day in July 1963. The station is still open and now has rather better facilities than when this picture was taken. The train is passing over the bridge which carries the railway above the busy A51 road. Image taken by Peter Shoesmith.
