By 1989 Sprinters were replacing DMUs on most services but on the 3rd May 1989 T302 (51402 and presumably 59512 + 51360) was on the 14.02 Birmingham New Street to Cardiff Central via WSH and is seen leaving Abbotswood Junction at 15.10, somewhat late! Possibly due to a failed 156xxx?
