A view of East Holmes yard and signalbox in May 1987. A number of withdrawn DMUs are in storage in the sidings following the introduction of Sprinters in the region. There seems to be 14 Class 105 vehicle behind the box and a 114 to the left. The 35-lever Great Northern box dates from 1873. Andrew Walker.

With a view dominated by The Cathedral Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary of Lincoln, 54090 - working the 14.00 Newark to Cleethorpes service - passes a Class 114 at East Holmes as they cross the River Witham on 20/07/1985. Geoff Dowling.
