The station at Lichfield Trent Valley H.L. has a very 1950's 'new brutal' look to it although the platform lighting looks very odd. Arriving at the station is a smart Metro-Cammell DMU on a Wolverhampton bound service, it may well be delayed for parcel loading as there is a barrow load waiting in the rain. A Gloucester twin arrives into Lichfield Trent Valley High Level station with Wolverhampton High Level on the destination blind in early March 1962. Michael Mensing.
