Standing on what was the former ex Great Central Up Line to London Marylebone from the North, several Class 115 DMU sets were stabled for the weekend north of Aylesbury Station on the 4th October 1984. Leading was Driving Motor Brake Second M51888. Martyn Hilbert.
51677 and 51675 at Princes Risborough. On 5 October 1984, the 07.46 Marylebone to Banbury hit a cow between Princes Risborough and Bicester. Fortunately no-one was hurt, but the dmu sustained damage to its front end and had to be rescued by another unit which dragged it back to Risborough. It is seen here running round the rescued dmu.
