25th September 1988
Old meets new at Sheffield on the 25th of September 1988. Class 150 set 150 146 has arrived and will work the 14.39 departure to Hull whilst, Class 110 DMU 51829 and 52066 is departing on the 13.39 service to Cleethorpes.
The 150 was new in 1986 and still operates for Northern Rail today. The KDH Archive.

circa 1962/3
A six-car BRC&W Calder Valley formation heads away from the south end of Bramhope Tunnel, north of Horsforth circa 1962/3. Liverpool Exchange is on the destination blind, the headcode hasn't been changed as it should show 1Mxx for an inter-regional set to the LMR, and the service is thought to have started at Harrogate. 4th March 1978
A Class 110 DMU at Killingbeck on 4 March 1978. E51844 seems to be closest, with Scarborough on the destination blind. Stuart Mackay Collection.

circa 1961
A BRC&W and a Met-Camm DMU, taking the Scarborough line at Bog Hall Junction, Whitby. The Calder valley set looks new, so this was possibly the later half of 1961 when some of these were allocated to Darlington. Stuart Mackay Collection.
